Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5th, 1964 in New York New York U.S.A. was an American actress who is known for her portrayal of powerful, but fragile character. Linney is from the theatre-loving side of her family. Her father, Romulus Linney was a writer. In 1986, she graduated in the class of 1986 from Brown University. She then went on to study Theatre Arts at Arts Theatre School Moscow before finishing her studies at Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City. The actress began performing on Broadway as soon as she arrived, and was later awarded praise for her performances on Six Degrees of Separation (Six Degrees of Separation) as well as Hedda Galer.
