She was born in Santa Monica, California on 26 November 1986. She is the daughter of Vincenzo Barba, her father and Valerie Barba. When she was six, the family relocated from Point Pleasant New Jersey. Point Pleasant New Jersey. She completed her education at Red Bank Catholic High School, New Jersey. After graduating at Catholic University with a Bachelor's in Architecture She continued to pursue her studies at the school. The violin was first played at the age four, and became known as the Violin Girl. In recognition of her skills the violinist was referred to by the name of Violin Girl. She also taught the violin to neighborhood kids. When she was 19 she was a contestant on Season 6 of American Idol and sang the 1976 single Free. Her audition was canceled when she was ranked 16th on American Idol. She's performed several songs like 'The Christmas Sing 2009' and 'Out for Blood in 2010'.
