Dina Meyer was born and raised in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but moved to Dix Hills, Long Island, just before her last year of junior high school. Dina Meyer is the sister of two brothers. Gregory is her brother who is older and Evan is her younger brother. At the age of 9 until 16, she began being involved in the business of entertainment by acting. Ron Stetson taught her the Sanford Meisner acting technique at The Neighborhood Playhouse. Others who have received this training are Sandra Bullock, Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum, Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton, and many other people. She was cast in Beverly Hills,90210 and had to relocate from Los Angeles to take the part. After that, she was the lead in the movie Johnny Mnemonic, in which she performed the majority of her own stunts and established herself as an athlete.
